I've had little success with Trumper soaps. Always needed to add KmF unscented to boost them and still keep the wonderful scents. This is a good deal. These usually sell for $22-25 online and $25 in brick and mortar stores (as of 2019). Edit: and since amazon prices tend to change without notice, the price in the amazon links is $11.07 + free shipping.
Bought one each of their Coconut and Sandalwood. Thanks for the heads up. Even if the soap sucks, the bowls are nice.
This is just an observation and may be sour grapes on my part, but why do seemingly higher end soaps add EDTA? It's a totally unnecessary (cheap) preservative. It bothers my skin and more disturbing than that it's a byproduct from formaldehyde. Over the past five to ten years it has been added to more food products as well. Sorry to step off topic.
Because it reduces soap scum and gives the soap better lather. Don't shoot the messenger. It's just what I read on Google.
I can understand it reducing soap scum and possible increase lathering due to its chelating action, but its main function is to prevent the soap from going rancid. I've never had a problem lathering Stirling and you can ask @wchnu AKA Fuzzy how many fifty plus years old pucks of Williams shave soap he's had go rancid; both of which don't use EDTA. BTW MWF uses EDTA and it's noted that it can be a challenge to lather. I hope I don't sound snarky, it wasn't intended. BTW I'll refrain from adding more comments due to my drift from the OP intent.
I also have purchased it from there, the fragrance is too good, my husband likes its fragrance, and I got many discounts as well, plz share some more good fragrances soap along with links.
