Preshave : Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap
Post shave : Witch hazel
Post shave : Italian barber Amici Aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea balm
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

I had to use one of my favorite razors today. It has been a month or more since I have used my 1909. It did not disappoint. Absolute stellar shave.

My Thanksgiving day shave.
Henkels Rapide with 4th use Gem by Ted Pella.
Durham Duplex with aluminum handle using a first use Perssona pathology blade.
The Durham was tugging a little bit on the first pass but the Henkels finished that up wonderfully and I enjoyed most of the second pass with the Durham. Then my wife cleaned up the back of my neck with the Henkels. All in all a very enjoyable shave. I have a few more Durham's on the way including one of the straight razor style with the stropping attachment. I look forward to try Durhams with a stropped blade I've read that it's quite an improvement.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The GZD Berber Stick Shave Soap face lathered well with the JR #255 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Transparent TNNSER razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
