    I am a 3 pass shaver (with, across, against) as I like to be completely smooth for work, Paul. Sometimes I do a 2 pass'er for weekends or if I am in a ridiculous rush.
    I load enough to make sure I have lather sufficient for 3 passes.

    Do we discourage equipment jumping? I don't think so. I think the overall narrative here is to master what you have, through a rule or focus or whatever, and then start applying those techiques to the next 140 pieces of hardware you buy...:happy097:

Or if another twit mentions the selected Fine soaps and splashes at huge savings at ItalianBarber. I might not resist that. Feathers and Astras 1/2 price? No one better tell me about that... Yup, I'll be good.
