The Haul: November 2019

Bought them on Aliexpress when they had their great sale.(about the price of a big Mac hamburger per brush shipped) The sale prices were all over the place and sometimes they would land on the brush you were looking for and then be gone 20 minutes later. I really liked the 24 mm tuxedo in black marble that I bought 2 months earlier and that convinced myself they are of reasonable quality. I know have total of 5 Yaqi brushes with one still in transit.

 

I've looked at their brushes. They look nice!!

 

Today I got from the postman Dr Jon’s Blood Oath aftershave, Cella shave soap and my Apollo Mikron razor.

 

Finally made it to a Marshall's like some of you have been talking about. First time I'd ever been in one. Stuff "everywhere", but a kind young lady walked me directly to where the "shaving" related items were. Turned out she was the one that stocked it. Found these two tubes of Proraso. One Proraso "Red" Shaving Foam and one Proraso "Green" Shaving Cream. Both at $4.99 each. Amazon is at $10 on that. Did a "quick" read of cream vs foam and took away both will do the job, but foam just a tad less rich/substantial, so to speak??? Looking forward to going back some day.

Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are both worth checking out on a regular basis.
I picked up a Crabtree & Evelyn lime A/S balm the other day on the cheap.
Their inventory turns fairly quickly and you can often find a bargain.
Great bar soaps too.

just arrived.may get the other one and the matching splashes in the future..

This showed up today. Everything is there. Inside if case is rough. But razor is in great shape. Soaked for abit and it has no issues. Had some green on it. But for its age. Very nice.
