Great face and dome shave this morning. My faithful Vector delivered the goods as usual. Up early for the flight back to Philly.

SOTD 11/30/19

RAZOR: Blackland Vector
BLADE: Schick Proline
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by face and dome scrub with Glyce Glycerin soap
BRUSH: RazoRock Best Badger
SOAP: Proraso Green
POSTSHAVE: Cold water rinse followed by Aqua Velva AS Splash

I felt like a straight dose of bay rum this morning. Mike's Bay Rum is just the ticket with is undiluted straight bay rum scent profile. With a wet face I rubbed the shave stick over my face and went to work with the Shavemac. In short order, I had a wonderful rich lather. In hindsight I could have added more water but it worked. Three passes and touch ups ended in a wonderful drama free BBS shave. A splash of witch hazel with menthol followed by some Dominica Bay Rum AS was a solid double dose of Bay Rum. Unable to help myself I rubbed on some Krampert's for a Bay Rum triple.

Wonderful shave, Clint! Years ago, my favorite summertime drink was Bacardi Rum with Coke. Now, I rarely drink adult beverages, except for wine with dinner.

If I had to pick just one razor, the Genesis would be the one that stayed. Lather, load blade and go to work while adding a pressure. Instant drama free BBS shave every time. I actually prefer to use mine with Gem blades for longevity.

November 2019 Recap

Another great month on the 30DC. I just used hardware and software that I wanted to use. I was able to mix in some new razors and brushes through the month. Overall a very great month on the shave front. As usual the real highlight of the month was participating in the 30DC. I enjoyed following along and interacting with the great folks on the thread. I am looking forward to participating next month as well.

I did enjoy my Thanksgiving. I hope you did as well.
