  1. I have some Cryogen... It's crazy cold. As in, heat up the shave den because you'll freeze your nose off cold.

SOTD 12012019 1st head shave.gif What's more decadent that shaving your face with gear that performs well? It just might include a head shave, too. I've been thinking about it for a while. Really needed a hair cut so I gave myself a no comb buzz with the home clippers to get started. Took the shave gear to the bath tub for my first try at this "more to shave!" procedure. Easy plentiful lather from the Stirling and fat boar brush, applied to one hemisphere, then the other. Ended up doing two passes and a little cleanup. Didn't finish bowling ball smooth but this was my first time. Transitioned to a face shave with the same gear. Still had enough soap, and I only brought one blade to the event so it did well. Much better results on my face having done it before. The long handle and good audio from the Chinese Futur clone served to help find the stubble on my dome, never felt like the grip was too slippery. I think I topped a bump on the back somewhere but never saw any blood. Does vintage aftershave still have alcohol in it? Judging from the sting I'd say yes. Might go look for some balm to sooth my abused pale noggin.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

  7. YMMV but Suneko blades work incredibly well for me! Russian blades have been my regular source! These are Chinese blades which are incredibly sharp and smooth! They deliver great shaves for me. And the price is unbeatable! $10/100!

  8. Sorry, Evan! Focus on YMMV and assume that what works for me will not work for you! I did not mean to supercharge your RAD!!

  13. For a penny per Shave I’m not focusing on longevity, but I’ve not gone beyond 5 shaves per blade! The fifth shave for me was about it!

  16. Yeah they are very inexpensive, it's just interesting to see how many times a blade can be used comfortably. YMMV of course. I usually toss a blade after three or four shaves. Gillette Wilkinson Swords are very cheap, but they don't last long at all. The first shave is great though.
