My dad was a mechanic, now retired though. He had to repair Fords and Mitsubishis for example. He absolutely hates them, except the old rwd Fords. British cars can be very weird. Some very good looking ones though, but pretty much anything made by British Leyland is crap. And what were they thinking with the Austin Allegro?
As a fellow headshaver, I agree with Jeff. My go to razors are the Gillette Fatboy, Slim Adjustable, Rockwell 6C and Model T. My preference is the Rockwell razor.
very odd indeed..we had an old black one sinking into the ground as it puked its hydraulic insides all over the parking lot..not very graceful..and the brunt of many jokes..technological marvel in its day i hear..
agreed..and another fine product the rover princess.the last brit cars i saw in 1980 when i left the jolly state..absolute crap..
Yeah they aren't reliable at all. I wouldn't ever want to own one, but they do look good to me. If one happens to want something reliable (or easy to fix), no need to look any further than Russia!
I tend to agree with the above. But after your technique is down on the gord, use any DE or SE you use on your face. Now days, if I shave my face with it, I shave my head with it, every day. tp
Ugh, How could I possibly forget the @wristwatchb hooligan who in his delicate youth was able to concoct a magic elixir to 'cherry bomb' the school comodes. Smart vs Wise, not a smart thing to do.... wisely he got away with it. They might have nailed him if he would have just dropped his slipstick making the getaway.
very cool,my dad was a ford dealer mechanic in the 60s and early 70s,in england then in canada.then moved over to volvo..respectable profession..both myself and my brother followed suite..i am still in the volvo game..
yes they did..,like working engines, rebuilt differentials(had to be after they arrived here due to missing bushings)and many other attributes..
Ahhhhh, I finally see what I've been doing wrong all these years. I've been shifting with the wrong hand.
Cool! Volvos are decent cars. I still see a lot of the older rwd ones around here, some of them were very reliable.
