Now that the NHL Playoffs are over(well, we can pretend this was taken after they finished), this player can shave off his beard.

I hear you. I have less experience but now that I learned better angle and pressure, when I do draw blood it's minimal. I do have 3 scares I got from trying to use a razor shaped letter opener. That thing wouldn't hold an edge and I always ended up pressing and scraping at higher angles to finish. Bad combo. Switching to a Dovo fixed that. Now any cuts I get aren't any worse than the cuts I get with my safety razors.

Shallow angle with a light touch for the win!

Wow....very smooth shave this morning with my first use of P.A.A. Boomtown. Course the in-shower bodywash could have been a factor in it, as it usually is, but that just sets things up for the shave itself. Boomtown combines W. Indies Bay Rum, Gunsmoke, and Leather, and it's quite a nice blend. The Clubman Special Reserve finished it off. I think SR is the only and best A.S. that works with this shave soap. My mistake was in shampooing with Clubman Country Club. I love the shampoo, but barbershop doesn't mix well with leather and/or gunsmoke. Course it DOES blend in well with Bay Rum, but in this case 1 outta 3 IS bad. Back to a more neutral shampoo tomorrow. But a great shave overall.
