Thanks Joe...."Smitty" the owner may be a bit on the goofy side, but he sure packs a punch with his soap.

DECember MdC Fougère~~Simpson Astor~~1908 Gillette SR~~Wilkinson Chromium~~Brut Without having read Jason's post, I decided on two classic fougère scents for today's shave. Martin de Candre was one of the first "premium" soaps to enter Primo's den back in 2014. I would say that there remains about 60% of the product. Brut is my favorite fougère aftershave and this vintage bottle is always a pleasure to use. Inserted into the 111 year-old Gillette is a Wilkinson "Light Brigade" blade. The number of shaves already on it is lost to me. A lot. It think it's the coconut oil, but MdC always lathers up into a foamy-consistency. Never gets particularly shiny either. Still, the lather was slick enough to provide a great 3-pass shave. The SR is fun to use and always amazes me that it is as old as it is.
thank you Clint..she is a beauty.i wasn't a fan of gold razors due to how they look when they are worn and how quick the finish wears, but when they are clean they are stunning.i am fortunate to have this and a mint 46-7 aristocrat .i will do my best to keep them this way..thankfully i have a nickel senator and an endcapless 'crat to do the heavy lifting...that should help preserve the nicer ones..
We're glad you decided to join in this therapy group....er......enabling and overspending support group......er......well, you get the picture. Happy 1st year with the 30DC!

Up to 32 pages! 10:30am MST on the 2nd... Menthol Monday! High praise indeed on the razor, Jim. Between you and Clint it is well regarded for sure. Very cool looking razor, Terry! I see you got in a month's worth of blades this weekend... Is that soap a Finnish soap, Daniel? Menthol and Pine sounds interesting. Very nice, Perry. Love the BlackHawk for sure and the Ozark scent has always been very well-regarded. Happy Birthday, Angelo! Some wonderful hard and software to celebrate, for sure. Love that brush, Clint! Those beehives are harder to turn than they appear. That one is nicely done. Beautiful greenery as well...it is snowing here for the first precipitation in a month. We need it. I like the Polar Ice, Tom. I just wish it was a little longer lasting, with a little more Polar and a little more Ice... What an awesome shaver, Jeff! Safe travels today, Jim! A great shave to send you on the way with, for sure. Fantastic golds in the photo, Gary. I see a cased Senator went for $59 CDN on the 'bay this weekend... I showed some restraint it appears. Awesome, Evan. So...when are you taking plating orders? Nah, you can include a few more, Joe... Lovely combo, Joseph! Those OTs are nice shavers- whether the Single Rings or the Ball ends.
