Dec 2nd
2 days in, 30+ pages behind? Really!?! Wow....you chatty Kathys......I'll just jump both feet in for a late start to Decadent December. Compared to December 2018 (when research started my wet shaving journey), everything done now for a daily shave & face maintenance routine is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, so I'll continue on with favorites acquired along the path.
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements PS - Tube 2.0
Jason BRM w/TGN 28mm Silvertip
Truefitt & Hill SC - Sandalwood
J3Customs Kamisori
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements ASB - Mysterium Serum
Tommy Bahama EdC - Very Cool
Finally worked in time to rewrap the J3Customs Kamisori, a behemoth of a razor. The wrap is 5mm blue deerskin, much better feel than the original wrap which was 3mm bamboo (super slick when wet!).
Worked up a fantastic lather with T&H SC, using
@jtspartan Blue Resin Maple handle, mated with a TGN 28mm silver tip badger. Slick sandalwood goodness overflowed the shave bowl, and helped this freshly stropped J3Customs kami take down 36 hours of growth. Every bit of concentration is needed, as this smiling blade covers SO much skin territory with each swipe. 2.5 passes, DFS result today. Followed with PAA's Mysterium Serum, and Tommy Bahama's Very Cool EdC. It was a fun super find (70% off) at a Marshall's closeout, while out shopping with wifey a few weeks ago. I failed Scent Description 101, so I'll turn in my home work in Frangrantica's hand writing: Top notes are ginger, mandarin orange and bergamot, middle notes are nutmeg and paprika, base note is vetiver. Yeah, right.....fruity spicy to me, aroma barely perceptible now with an early morning shave, and mid day post.
Hope everyone has a Magnificent Monday!
