Decadent December!!! December 2 Razor - 1960 (F4) Gillette Toggle Blade - (1) Soap - Stirling Christmas Eve Brush - I*V10 The Moreau Post - Alum After taking the 1st off from shaving it's time to jump in and get the ball rolling at Cartel HQ. Starting out with the Toggle and a Sharp Star. Rare American classic and Russian steel. Unbeatable combination. I know the soap chosen isn't one of the five I picked out but I felt it was appropriate to start the month of shaves. Stirling's Christmas Eve is an very nice soap with a scent that really adds to the shave. Along with the badger/boar knot in Mesquite - I don't know how much more decadent I can get. Three passes to a glorious BBS and no blood or other issues. Alum was quiet and that makes this one extremely decadent shave!! Enjoy your Tuesday!

A very nice first showing in my book, but they won't catch the Prolines. Right now, I have put them about equal with Chinese Schicks. Well above the old Supply Personnas in sharpness and smoothness. If you prefer the Personnas over the Chicks, I can't comment. I considered getting one of the Supply starter kits as a gift for my brother at Christmas, this new blade sealed the deal.
