  5. Fun image Gary! Great shave and gear!

Bummer. Waiting for gear to arrive is like watching paint dry, infuriating torture sometimes. FWP....

Cool image Jim. Great looking razor and everything....Nice shave!

  6. It's Wednesday better than Tuesday, for me, somewhat. Feeling not much better, but feeling, not much worse. I'm not going down hill! That's a plus!

Decided to use a razor that is unique, but shouldn't be IMHO. The TNNSER shaves great, so it's a natural when you don't want to think about what you're doing.
Also got in the wayback machine to use the first real 'shaving cream' I ever tried.
Got a better shave this morning than I did when I used it back then, but that's to be expected.

2 passes face and head, some witch hazel clean up.
The only thing, because there is no lather, your not always sure exactly what you went over.
Regardless, I'm clean and smooth, look like I'm ready for the day, no issues.
    Off I go!

    Have a nice hump day!

    All
    Enjoy!

That's great that you went for the lapping films, Jason! You will find that it gives a sharp edge. It may not be a buttery smooth edge, but it really does the job. Looking forward to your results.

  14. SOTD December 4, 2019

Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
    Razor: Schick M adjustable
    Brush: Sapele beehive badger
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Another enjoyable Stirling shave this morning. This brush, made by @jtspartan, is top notch. Really enjoy using it. Slick, shiny lather was swiped away with ease by the Schick M on wide open. Did a little switch and used RazoRock Blue Barbershop as the finish. Fine shave all around.

    Enjoy your day!

Oh, and I finished up the bottle of RazoRock. Already had a replacement.
