I bought this Jaeger-LeCoultre 12 years ago. Never had a problem with it but since it has never been serviced I thought I would have it done before any problems developed. I also had it polished since it had a lot of scuffs. It came back looking like a new watch.
Don't listen to the rumors. I was raised by a research chemist with an MBA who became an RN close to retirement age. Having that kind of father rubs off on you. Besides reading tons of Sci Fi as a younger person, I'm curious about everything. Tough trying to be a Renaissance Man these days. Sort of a poor man's Tony Stark?
Wow, the JLC is an absolute beauty, Keith! It came back from service looking good as new. A classic and elegant dress watch, for sure.
Delivery took a couple extra days. No leather strap yet, it will arrive later. Feels light with the nato strap, but I'm used to a full SS bracelet.
