  2. Sort of- if a release air malfunctions, the arrow will go wild. My husband destroyed a fluorescent light tube that way once.

Pulled the SV Cubebe combo this morning as it definitely counts as Decadent in my den. Love the performance and the scent equally. Clint was bang on about this scent and my love of the 4.3 base is well-documented.
Day 3 with the Floating Head, and another exquisite result. Completely smooth, with one new weeper but not really any feeling of irritation. Loving this razor, but I’d only recommend it to experienced TTT types. It would scare a newbie away, I think.
    Have a great day all!

My 91 yr old Gillette New Standard delivered a comfortable three pass DFS to both dome and face today on day four of Decadent December. This is a reliable, well-balanced razor that I can always count on for a good shave.

So as not to disappoint Primo's legion of fans, today's post will be somewhat longer than yesterday's.
I guess I have been focussing on my '08 Single Ring so far this month.
It has been sitting out and I have been too lazy to prep a straight, so here it is again.
Together with the Wilkinson blade, they make a formidable duo.
New soap today. Picked up a vintage NOS puck of Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender shave soap.

Since I don't have any empty mugs, I purchased the very nice container from Maggard's.
These will be my "go to" containers from now on. They are perfect.
Grated the soap and pressed it into the container. I debated adding a touch of
boiling H2O, but in the end decided not to. The soap pressed easily and it is the consistency
    of a triple-milled soap.
Big-old bloom whilst showering and the Duke created some incredible, shiny lather.
51g, which originally retailed for $2.95...I paid $20.
This soap out-performs probably 90% of today's offerings.
The slickness was first-rate; the scent is still potent after all these years.
    The post-shave rivals MW.

While there are no ingredients listed on the now defunct box, I would bet $$ that this is a tallow based soap.
Some modern "artisan" should reverse engineer this soap and recreate it.
    They
    would make a fortune.
Completed the shave with a spritz or three of the Yardley and even though today is
chilly, the lavender makes Primo feel like it's spring.
  15. Nice FATT shave, Danny! I like the milk-glass look of that brush handle.
