SOTD, 4 December 2019 First shave with a Personna Red blade today, and I'm going to say I hope the 'ragged' experience I had with it is unusual. I've had a marvelous week with a Gillette Nacet, and decided today to swap that out for a Personna - and just found it rough going, which surprised me. Hopefully tomorrow's second shave with it will be better. Unconditional Wednesday This was my first use of Declaration Grooming's new milksteak base. Early impressions are that it is not thirsty and produces lather very easily. This shave was drama free and left my face feeling great. Bon Vivant is a nice pairing. Star 3 piece razor Silver Star blade JR #85 brush Crescent City Shave Works "Frankincense" SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Old Spice Fresh Lime A/S Finding that this SS needs more water than I'm usually use but that's ok. Got a fine lather and very nice shave. My face is pretty happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
