I just found out one of the decanters I bought at 3 for $1 not only had the box and was also full of Wild Country; it also came with decal stickers along with directions on where to put said stickers never used!
I've been wanting one of these for a few years. "Columbia High Roller" from the House of Fuller I'll be filling it with Avon Spicey goodness!
how do you guys feel about the modern version of old spice compared to the vintage? do you like the modern? Attached Files:
The modern OS is very weak compared to the original Shulton version. When I would splash on the modern version; the scent would be gone in less than 45 minutes. Whereas the Shulton formula lasts for a few hours after application.
you know I notice that also when ever I use my vintage. You would think it is a cologne considering how long that aftershave lasts
Let me say this: No. (I don't mean to be blunt, but Old Spice never should have been bought out. I'll give New Spice credit for knocking out their "Smellmitment" term, but I just wish Shulton would have stood more firm and declined to be bought out.)
To be honest Im just going to start stocking up on these vintage OS products now, because the prices are starting to sky rocket on ebay these days
I can't believe what eBAY charges for a single can of Colgate Shave Cream, or at least the current charge. It's in the $40's. Laughable.
They have been on the rise, for years. Once and a while, I get a very good deal on Shulton Old Spice. Usually in their novel decanters. I managed to squirrel away, quite a few bottles, over the years. So much that I no longer look for deals, on ebay. No room to hide them from the wife.
