  6. yes sir.i think i know it as pumice soap? removes anything..
  7. yes sir,the term "soap" is used on some products to give people a genre to purchase them under.they weren't true soaps as per their real definition..

  8. Years ago when Lever 2000 hit the market, I was do glad to have found a 'soap for the masses' that would lather and not make my skin dry and itchy.

When Unilever started making it in Mexico, it would not lather any more. I sent them an email, and like expected, they did not change a thing.

Soap costs more now, but scent and lather are much nicer. And.......even though I have strict instructions to place my checkbook in one of the pockets of the outfit that they are burying me in, can I really count on them?

    Recent soap shopping.

  10. Good morning!
    TGIF!

Tried a new razor, I'm not impressed.
A One Blade Core, seems like a new configuration. The head piviots, it only uses one type of blade. Loaded a new blade and got to work. The first pass was easy, gental, but it didn't shave much. I'm not sure of the pivoting action, I
don't press hard enough to make it work. 2cd pass was different. I decided to use more pressure, it made little difference, the head did piviot but the shave was ho hum. On the clean up pass I tried to get remove more but to no avail.
By the time I got to the head the blade was dulling. 2 passes and I'm rough, still. The cleanup pass was useless. The blade is not easily changed so I am where I am.
Not sure This razor is for me...

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

I used the safety bar baseplate this morning. Less blade feel than the others. Still a smooth easy shave with the same results I got from the other baseplates. Not sure that I have a strong preference for any one of them, they all work. I also used the ridged top cap. Maybe it would serve a purpose for someone just starting out but for me it's just aesthetic.

    Have a great day! [IMG]
