    I tried very hard to ignore the Black Friday sales but the 30% off at Razor Emporium proved too much for me. The Rex Ambassador arrived on Thursday, so I decided to give it a go this morning. Going for the full-on decadent theme I paired the Rex with Thater 4125 and MdC Fougere. The Thater loaded the MdC with ease. The brush is so soft I can imagine face lathering with a cloud. I dialed the razor to 3 for the first shave and went with a traditional 3 pass shave. I found it easy to dial in the correct angle. With touch ups and buffing my lower right neck, I ended up with a drama free BBS shave. I can tell I am really going to like the Rex. A splash of Balsamica and I am ready for a relaxing day. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

    I recall you did a focus with the Ambassador. Did you find any little tricks that improved your results with the razor?

    I did do a 30 day focus with the Ambassador. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as technique. I did run it up and down on the adjustment dial. I was only unsuccessful with it cranked all the way down to .5. The angle it will actually allow blade contact has to be pretty precise. My technique just isn't there yet.
