Here's my Ever-Ready 1924 on a Cooncat Bob Improved handle. I love the shave from this razor, but am quickly souring on it because a little nib of the blade sticks out from behind the stop. I end up nicking myself. Is there anything that can be done with the to keep the blade more centered behind the stops?
A few pictures would help figure out where the issue is. 1 looking down at the razor with blade loaded cap closed and 1 top down blade loaded cap open to start with should tell a lot.
I start a thread across the street. It the blade was slightly lifted causing the sharp corner to get me from behind the stop. It was suggested to bend the wings out a bit under the cap pushing it forward and it may have helped. I will need better light before I can see much. I will try and get better pics during the light but it is such a small bit that I am not sure my marginal cell camera will get it.
I will check across the street. If you don't see a post from me there please tag me in that thread. Same user name there as here.
I looked at where I know as across the street and didn't see it. My across the street may be different than yours though. I don't see an option to PM you but feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to help if I can.

SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse GZD Berber Stick Jayaruh #2 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Star Wedge CWR Pinaud Clubman My prep was just a cold water rinse. The GZD Berber Stick Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Star Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Postscript: This is a shoutout to @twhite, my go to guy for making things sharp. I sent him three wedges to be honed and sharpened and this Star wedge was among them. This was my first shave with it since it got home. I paired it with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher, and boy, this was a great shave. I showed the setup to the wife, and she sends her complements on the shave results. Rubbing my face, she says I look good.
Sunday shave, I have been eyeing up my i2 Schick injector with the Hydro- magic option and it delivered a great shave and that is a good day. 7 O'clock single edge, modified Gem Ptfe Stainless blade, shave 3 Of all the strop razors this one maybe the most smoothest and easiest razor to shave with. Even though this is a 7 o'clock branded razor it was made by Autostrop. Not a perfect BBS shave but the lack of drama and irritation as the trade off is more than acceptable. If I had to use one strop razor on a daily basis except for special occasions this one would be it. Thankfully I don't so I won't.

Despite its light weight, handled with a featherlight touch it delivers awesomely close Shaves. Very hard to believe how good it is unless you try one.

MMMonday for myself today with my Peerless Clog Pruf and it sure works well when my shave count is high on my Gem blade. I find the MMCP a little smoother than my MMOC but not by much with excellent outcome for a shave.
