This is probably just warm rather than hot. Some of the Bed Bath & Beyond stores have the Face Values section with shaving products. The one I was in had the Van Der Hagen Boar brush for 9.99 and the set with the mug, brush, stand and soap for 19.99. If you sign up they send you coupons for 20% off or $5 off $15.00. I recall seeing the brush for more but checking now the VDH website has it for $7.99 (https://www.vanderhagen.com/Boar-Brush). The Bed Bath website lists the price for the brush as $18.99 so this may be an in-store thing, a price change or an error. My experience with the brush was that it was good but it did not last long before losing a clump out of the middle
