In my quest for a comfy head shave I tried a coat of preshave soap before lathering. Did it help? Probably, but then I used a different soap and razor from previous attempts so comparisons are difficult. The handle on the Schick isn't square, oval, or round and that gave a bit of oddness when reaching behind. Still working on "beard mapping" so I'm not sure if I was going WTG or otherwise half the time. I've achieved a level of SAS, but not CCS yet. Makes shaving my face an afterthought and the DFS a nearly foregone conclusion. Splashed on some matching AS, and rubbed in some "Sensitive" balm to ease the slight irritation. Another month or two and I think I'll get this head shaving thing figured out.
