Wednesday 12.11.19 SOTD RazoRock Pre Barba Pre Shave Gel Black Ship Grooming "The 32 Pounder" Astra Superior Platinum (1) Vintage Kingsley (Austria) Pure Badger Fine Fresh Vetiver in a vintage mug Old Spice Cologne Original First shave with my new Black Ship Grooming "The 32 Pounder" plain brass DE razor was a success. Would I buy it again? No. not after the time it took too pollish out the rough edges on the base plate left by the casting process. Wet/dry #600 grit sandpaper did the trick. The resulting shave was smooth and efficient -- BBS in two passes, WTG and ATG. The handle is heavier than I’m used to, but the razor was well balanced and easy to maneuver.

Thanks! It doesn't have a case and the plating is far from perfect, so it's probably not that interesting to collectors. I cleaned it up a little and i'm just going to use it. I have a ball end tech from 2nd quarter of '58 on the way as well.
