SOTD Decadent December 11th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap RazoRock SS DLC Lupo VS RazoRock Al Lupo (Ti Halo handle) Permasharp Stainless x2(2) A&E Grecian Horse soap and AS The battle of the Lupo's continues. This time I put the Al Lupo head on the RR Ti Halo handle which added a bit of length and weight to the configuration. During this shave there was a noticable difference between the SS and Al Lupo. There was a definite smoothness advantage held by the SS DLC Lupo. The Al Lupo really felt like it had to work harder to cut the whiskers and that have been due to the anodizing on the head. Both razors provided a BBS finish though. Had one bad set down that resulted in a small bleeder but otherwise it was a fantastic shave. Finished if with the tremendous Grecian Horse AS. Dec 11 Good evening, guys Straight Razor Shave #138 30 Same Straight Razor/Same Setup Challenge #28 Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow SQ PT Stirling Boar Brush Stirling Sandalwood AS and SS Nivea ASB not pictured Everything went well with this shave, save a tiny weep on my lower lip. Achieved an IBBS++. Finished with the matching aftershave and Nivea. Tomorrow will be a non-shave day. Have a great evening, guys!
I found my old working honor 7 lite (i think?), i'll try to snap a sotd-pic with it tomorrow. Screen is just slightly cracked and the battery life isn't as long as i'd like.
