Been waiting to find a Schick G5 at a decent price and finally found what I wanted. A cased set for $11.00 shipped, not too bad. Now just have to find a G2 at a good price to complete the G series...........
Jeff: I’ve also heard a lot of talk on some of the other forums from French razor buffs, that the LaResche #51 is also to be sought after. How does that razor compare to your 77?
The Leresche 51 has very conventional (Old Type) geometry. The 77 is quite unconventional but as it hasn't arrived yet I'll wait to comment on the shave comparison. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Currently I’m waiting on a 4 oz bottle of Seaforth Leather aftershave to be delivered tomorrow. Also I ordered from Italian Barber the Razorock Gamechanger JAWS .84 blade gap along with 100 Ladas blades.
My loving wife wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas ..... I saw this of Craigs list. A Hobart / KitchenAid A-9 Coffee Mill. A bit of a drive (about an hour and a quarter). I plan on restoring after Christmas (in yellow). She'll wrap it and give it to me Christmas was morning.
Waiting on a silvertip badger knot from Whipped Dog. It will be going in the first brush handle I will make after my accident. It may not be until after the first, but at least I will have it ready here to complete. It will go to @PLAla .
Interesting! I like old stuff of most any description! "Old" old and "new" old! Is this an "old" piece? Hard to tell any more. The back of signs is usually a good "tell" one way or the other. I've got a link somewhere to a company that sells all kinds of "new" old signs if you're interested!
A pair of all black canvas Chuck Taylor high tops. On my feet alot at work; got a nice brown leather pair a few months ago and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I own.
no ,its a "new"old piece..just a cool aristocrat pic..been down the old sign collecting rabbit hole..some ridiculous prices for some..not going there..but thank you....
I know what you mean! I came across "one" really rare, old one once. I had it hanging in the garage for a good while till someone wanted it more than I did. I made him the proud owner.
