    Razor: Vintage Gillette Fat Boy
Blade: Vintage Personna 74 Tungsten (31)
    Brush: John’s Brushes Silvertip-22mmx48mm

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Agar today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the vintage Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Agar aftershave.

    Friday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Arko Extra Performance Shaving Cream
    Tom's 3D Printed Brush
    Supply V2
    Personna
    CWR
    Lilac Vegetal

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Extra Performance Shaving Cream face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Supply V2 razor with the three dot plate and a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lilac Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

  16. 2019-12-13, Friday

Awakening in a 'snow rain' ; the snow was not even visibly deposited: a little on the windshield (the thermal insulation allowed it to accumulate, but on the body ...) and a spray on the fields like icing sugar on a strudel!

Convenient for driving, but aesthetically disappointing.

And I wanted a traditional shaving gear (in my sense!): a soap that smells almond, a brush that smells like a brush and an EdT with Mediterranean Lavender that is not a spring / summer perfume: it is suitable for every season, if you don't dress like a punk ...
But wirh moleskin pants and a slipover it is really in tone.

Clarifying the results is tautological: they are those of a many time tested gear!

  17. Friday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 2
    Vitos SS
    Bull Dog Moisturizer
    Aqua Velva Musk AS Splash

No question about it - the Derby blades are far superior to me anyway, than the 7 AMs. I still find the Astra Greens to be the best but these are still good enough. The Vitos soap has such a nice, mild marzipan scent, it gives tons of rich lather so easily, and a very soothing, comfortable postshave feeling. The Bull Dog moisturizer is from the UK and it works great as a balm. The Aqua Velva Musk has a nice old school scent and it feels really good on my skin. Two passes were enough for a perfect BBS shave.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend![IMG]
