I just want to revisit my initial post. Since my initial impression, I’ve used Barbasol Classic several times and found it to be as good of a performer as any other soap/cream as I have used. Shaving is actually a very simple chore and over complicating it detracts from the pleasure.

 

I’ve continued my Barbasol experiment and have to say that the lanolin is leaving my face in better condition than any soap/cream I’ve used. I use a rather small amount on a wet face smearing it around with wet fingers and it works beautifully. Just goes to show you “canned goo” isn’t all bad.

 

Steve try it with a brush and for warm lather put the can in a sink filled with hot water for a few minutes. There's nothing like warm lather on a cold morning. Here's a pic of one of my favorite setup's.
