Answered a Craig's list ad .... Quite a bit of talc remaining and Ever Ready C-40 is in new like condition.
Thank you, Gary! Thanks! It's a Slim Twist. The plastic handle isn't quite straight, but otherwise it's in a pretty good condition.
Maybe! I'll probably give this one to a friend of mine. He has some experience making puukkos (type of knife), so if the handle bothers him, he should be able to make a new one i think.
I had a left handed DE razor, all you have to do is use the other side when using your right hand. tp
Just in: three sticks of wood for turning. Honduras Rosewood, Patagonian Rosewood, and Marblewood. These are going to make some fine handles.
Sounds like you're getting ready to start turning some handles. Let me know when you're ready, I may have one I'd like you to turn.
Injector I didn't know existed until recently. This one I am calling an L0 since I know for sure it predates the L1 Schick injector by a few months in 1967. It is hard to tell from the lighting but the handle is light grey like the Eversharp Eagle DE razor. Though the Eversharp only branding didn't last, these razors look to have been sold from Jan. - Mar. of 67, the handle style did since it continues on as the L1 Schick injector which shows up later in the same year.
