DECember Stirling Glastonbury~~Simpson Manchurian Beehive~~2011 Mühle R41~~Wilkinson Chromium While I wouldn't categorize this shave as "decadent", it does fall squarely in the "outstanding" category. I have posted these comments, vis-à-vis Stirling Glastonbury before, but it bears repeating. The third time was mos def© the charm with this scent. Twice owned and twice sold, before acquiring a third tub and bottle of the infamous scent. Rod must think I spread the product on toast, I go through it so quickly. First Stirling product in about two months. Minimal dribbling of H2O on the surface and, not pictured, 5 drops of TSD Menthol Bomb, to qualify for a Menthol Monday shave. No need to extol the virtues of the soap, but I will reiterate that the scent has grown on me significantly. Pungent and powerful, the patchouli-forward scent really fills up the olfactory senses and hangs on for dear life. And that's just the soap! One splash is all it takes of the aftershave and I am channeling Janis Joplin. On a side note: the shave was smooth and the baby is safely in its playpen.
Thank you Jeff. I picked up both my Wolfman razors direct. The SS was first and it was about 10 months. This was before it got really crazy and the prices were much lower. The SS handle and Ti head were next and I tagged along with Mark’s order so it was about the same. I understand he has a new system for ordering and is not making anything but stainless.
