Let's have a bit of fun, shall we? Once in awhile I run into something around the Lou as I make my rounds that catches my eye, surprises me, or just makes me shake my head. I was on a delivery today when I passed this.......

For the benefit of those familiar with STL, I was westbound on Natural Bridge Road within North City. For those not familiar let's just say I'm in an area you probably would never drive through. A wrecker securing a car. Nothing unusual about that really, but there it was. I went down about two blocks, turned left onto some snowy streets and made my delivery. Then, I circled back out on Natural Bridge Road to continue west to pick up my next delivery. I stopped at a stoplight when.........

I cut that a bit short to protect your ears from a choice word or two that I said upon hearing that.....because I didn't actually see it. I was looking left when it rolled off the truck. To finish the event, the driver did stop and started backing up as the girl in the red car behind (whose car was on the truck apparently) ran up and jumped in to put it in park. As I drove by the driver was walking back staring at it. I will say it was a humorous part of my day. The clock on my dashcam is an hour ahead, by the way, so that all took place between 4:30 and whenever the last video ended.

Well, I made it home through the snow, ice and falling cars to shave! Stayed with the OCMM and CVS Carbon. I threw in a seasonal soap today, the Stirling Hot Apple Cider with the Stirling Finest Badger. Great scent. Very nice and festive! The lather, of course, is Stirling so no issues there. Three passes and I'm smoother than that tow truck driver! Have a great Wednesday!!

  19. Thank you, Clint. Like I said, some of the day was long, but was really positive. I got roped into MCing my daughter’s Grade 6 Mass Choir concert. Managed to not mangle the script too badly. Over 200 kids from 9 elementary schools, a decades old tradition here in town:
