ABCo 7/8 Near Wedge

2.5 pass DFS+ Had fun overloading the 3-Step ER clone today, making a bowl of overflowing, incredible PAA CK-6 slick thick lather with one of my favorite aromas, John Frum. Easily maneuvered, this ABCo 7/8 straight is highly polished stainless steel, very quiet while shaving with it's near wedge grind. Even though the blade passed gssixgun's 'tree topping' test this morning with flying colors, it's not the smoothest shaver....methinks because of the incredibly hard (quite heavy/thick) stainless steel composition. The wide tang area, smaller blade width and weight allows for precise control, although I did have a small set down weeper at the base of my nose. Didn't distract from the shave at all, stopped on it's own. Finished the morning routine out with lightly mentholated PAA Star Jelly, followed with the matching John Frum AS&C. Clean, smooth & smelling ready for an awesome Thursday.

We are pleased to re-introduce this Boker back into the rotation.
Pins are nice 'n tight and the edge shaved wonderfully. No stropping, per Glen's instructions.
The Seaforth! whipped up a lovely lather, more on the creamy side, than shiny; however,
the results were still quite slick and comfortable.
"Buttery" is an oft-used word to describe a straight shave and Primo is going to use it too.

The baby hit the den this morning! Great shave with three passes.

I placed an order for the Calypso Blue all aluminum razor that ATT had on clearance for my son for a stocking stuffer and was a little short on free shipping so I order the ATT soap made by RazorRock. This crew has taught me well…. add more stuff till you can get free shipping. The Calypso Blue is a great looking razor and for $44.80 is a great value from ATT. The production is limited to 100 razors. The bottom picture is the Blue Calypso.

At first, I thought I would not like the scent of the ATT soap but it is a nice enjoyable scent. The lather whipped up quick and has great cushion. It is just a good soap. My Kronos with the R2 plate and a Feather is a great combo that just delivers. I am really falling in love with my ATTs.

The shave was finished off by the Black Tie Gentleman EDT. Danny is smooth, smelling good and looking good……. scratch the last one. Some things you just cannot help.
