Sunday December 22nd SOTN

A calming lavender shave before bed tonight after shooting some with my cousin who is in for the holiday. Three shaves I think is my limit with these blades again... Not exactly "rough" but I have to use extra buffing to get close enough. I'll toss it and move on. Happy shaves all.

@wchnu so you know, I only bloomed just a little bit. Less than a few seconds. I rinsed the puck. That's what I did. Just rinsed the puck and put the rinse in the VdH bowl for lather building and wetting the face.

Such a super smooth shave. The Rockwell 6 series never disappoints. Happy Shaves, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year everyone!

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Coate’s Lime Cream today. 10 seconds to load the Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Schick Plus Platinum still in the vintage Gillette 40’s Style Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Clubman Whiskey Woods aftershave.

Menthol Monday's Shave

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick M2 Adjustable razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Not really as frigid a setup as I would normally select on a Menthol Monday but still colder than cold enough to satisfy me. The Yuka Lyptik soap delivered so much lovely lather with its great scent and a delightful menthol sensation as well as a most comfortable postshave feeling that the Prep enhanced. The Krampert’s Frostbite went on icy cold, and I love the scent. Smooth as silk so easily from two passes!
