  3. Thanks, Bill! If I was going to buy any Stirling cold soaps, then it would be Satsuma(glacial) or Orange Chill.

  5. My absolute fave is Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange. The originator of the Stirling Exchange thread, @PickledNorthern got Rod to make a batch for TSD a while back. I love Glacial Satsuma too.

I think the nice thing about some citrus scents is they seem less susceptible to remind me of a medicine at high menthol levels.

A nice 2 pass shave today. Finally broke through the bottom of the partial puck I picked up for No Variation November. I still have a ways to go with it, but am making progress. Enjoy your day.

    Razor: Aluminum Karve C
    Blade: Permasharp Super (3)
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: PAA Keepsake Fruitcake
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: PAA Keepsake Fruitcake

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just a tickle from the alum.

Three shaves with the Aluminum Karve and I'm impressed. It's not quite at the level of smoothness as my smoothest razors but it's pretty darn close.

Keepsake Fruitcake is another PAA take on Bay Rum. Lovely scent that I should use more often during the holidays.

    Have a great day!
