Same to you, Jeff! I believe that my clogged sinuses helped me deal with the menthol. I had my nose on top of the soap and it was an ok smell. Go figure!
Dec 24th Decedent December Christmas Eve Razor: Gillette Toggle (F4) Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (1) Brush: Omega 10098 PS: Stirling Menthollated Pre-Shave SS & AS: Stirling Christmas Eve Of course I would use my Toggle on Christmas Eve. It is the current king of my collection. I decided to use a feather on a lower setting to see what would happen. Well, I got a close shave with a few weepers on my neck. Too much pressure with the least forgiving blade I have. Not too bad. Alum and AS seems to have fixed me up. It's going to be a great day. We still have a few things to get done, but we're close. I have a Fatboy F1 in my tumbler right now. Completely disassembled and stripped to bare brass. Going to see if I can get a mirror finish on it tomorrow. Just nickel this time, but thinking something else may be in order if it turns out well enough. Here's the before. Its smooth but had a lot of bare brash showing through. It had spent years covered in soap scum which ate the nickel but left the brass in good shape.
