Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Cella Crema Da Barba Jayaruh #199 Schick M2 Adjustable Schick Proline CWR Cella Balsamo Dopobarba My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Crema Da Barba face lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick M2 Adjustable razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella Balsamo Dopobarba. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Throwback Thursday Shave: prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Max. Moisture)in shower shave-Central Texas Soaps( Weekend Rodeo) brush-Stoylin 26 mm Pro-Handle razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE A.S.-see "shave" I would call this shave "partly excellent". Got a cut right off the bat, which took my mind off focusing on the shave, kind of. But I loaded well with the Stoylin Pro-Handle, which led to a real nice shave(post-cut). CTS is wonderful soap. I'm still trying to figure out why a reviewer called it a "Stoylin rip-off". Perhaps he felt it was just as good as Stoylin. CTS is a little less pricy, but not by much. I've been very happy with it. I ordered the Weekend Rodeo after Greg took out the Bentonite Clay. Rodeos have been around since 1863-a classic "throwback". And while I don't have a date for when the Leather industry began here in the U.S., I'm sure that was a long time ago, too.

Tobacco Thursday My wife got me the Model T for Christmas, and this was my first shave with it. I am already very impressed. I used it wide open and it was very efficient and completely comfortable. It is well balanced and beautiful. It shaved closer than the 6s on the 6 plate and every bit as smooth. It sounds different as it mows down the stubble, more hollow-like. My face feels and smells great.
