    I will have to let you know tomorrow. It was a gift from my wife and I will try it in the morning for the first time. Overall, it looks well made and plated. Nice package and I'm not adverse to Zamac as long as the finish is done well. I'm a sucker for these kind of things and strongly hinted it would make a great gift like a Red Ryder BB gun. It looks like a fairly standard head so I'm sure it will deliver a solid smooth shave. I'm with you regarding gear. I'm not committing to a no purchase 2020, but have plenty of things to keep me busy for awhile. My weakness now is a nice F Type, but since they rarely come up I think I will be waiting on the side lines during the next few months. I told that to myself before and it hasn't worked well in the past, so we'll see - lol. I'll let you know how it goes Guy after a few shaves, but if you were thinking about it, you might as well pull the trigger before they're gone.

    Looking forward to your review Steve. Looking at the head it reminds of the Muhle 89 head. I really like the design of the handle and the inclusion of the case was a nice touch. Believe it or not I have over 90 razors in my den so I've stayed away from BST and new razors and brushes for last six months. Was tough passing up the Rex Ambassador for Christmas.

    Thank you, gentleman. Celestino, about 10 feet from my backdoor is a large pond with two stone bridges that cross over to the pool area in the complex were I live so I have the opportunity to take some nice pics but admit I normally get home when it is dark outside so indoor shoots it is. My granddaughter was here for a visit and convinced me to take this photo so hats off to the little one.
