While visiting my Mom, I lucked up and found some hardware in the antique store yesterday. There was quite a bit more gear there, but I stuck with just these. The Korean War era Gillette is an X-2, which I didn't have in my collection. The Century and Peerless brushes appear unused.
Christmas time seems to bring in some new shaving gear that was surprising for myself from family members. They seem to roll their eyes when I buy something! Have some great shaves!
Thanks Gary. I usually shy from Avon stuff but the True Gent has a nice fragrance to it of Tobacco and Vanillia & other ingredients. You already know about Proraso Green so I won't bore you.
A few things I've been waiting for. Die cast P-38 Lightning, Spearmint e-liquid, military style nylon black watch band for my Expedition, injector blades and a Gillette C4 Red Tip (birth year/quarter).............
Today, I got my order from Stirling( a day early). Full size tubs of Haverford, Executive Man and Stirling Gentleman. Also got Haverford and Stirling Gentleman splash and a Executive Man EDT. That company rocks and they put out some very nice products. I can't say enough good things about the Lovans and crew there. The Red Tip is a 1958 left in my care by a friend of the family.
