First shave with the Occam's Enoch. Already 97% 'love @1st shave' with this razor....2% deducted for not being offered in a polished version, 1% for nearly impossible to use w/wet fingers (yeah, I know polished SS would make it worse, but it'd look so freaking
). At 2 passes, I was all over DFS+. Did a third touch up pass (baby caught) as I totally overloaded the
@jtspartan 2019 30DC handle w/Omega boar knot thinking I'd be doing more passes getting familiar with a new acquisition. Nope. Super efficient growth reduction even on the first pass! Tons of blade feel, the most of any safety style razor I own. Zero blade flex, mostly from the Artist Club style blade, maybe a little from the Enoch's clamping design. Shave angle was more shallow to me (handle closer to face/neck), but easily found. Head design works very well shaving under the nose. Very comfortable shaving WTG/XTG, and even ATG (the light 3rd pass buffing). PAA products performed flawlessly, CK-6 formula slick as snot, the Star Jelly and AS/C providing great face feel hours after the shave as usual. This scent is a true Sandalwood fragrance with little to no powdery aroma added as so common in many English and Italian brands.
Very pleased with the Enoch for the $99 price point (looks like it's $115 for 2020). Fit & finish is nice for a Metal Injection Molding process (M.I.M.) razor. Thanks

@jluc for the enabling. Given how much I like this razor already, I foresee a larger DE, and a possible SE, razor reduction in 2020 than I posted earlier. And....I may even give a go at polishing this bad boy meself. The final machining done by Classic Shaving almost has it almost there for the example I received.
