  9. Thanks, Danny! My only regret is that there's no stronger menthol shave soap to challenge me. Lol!

  10. I didn't even think about it when I used this term this morning. Its not one that is normally used in the shave forums. This is mainly my focus on honing. I have an edge that will pass the hanging hair test, thumbnail test, and looks good through magnification, however it still needs more pressure to shave than I like. Its technically a good edge, and perfectly usable, but not as comfortable as I would like. Does that make sense?

  11. Tim, that is the hard part about coming off of cartridge razors....having to use pressure. With the SE and DE razors just let the weight of the razor do the work. With a little practice you will have it nailed down in no time.

  12. Awesome shave, Jeff! I had a white/ gray goatee, but it made me look older. I would use the Just for Men to color it, but I got tired of doing it. Also, I didn't like to constantly trim it and keep the lines even. So, now I have more to shave and I am fine with it.

  20. @jtspartan, Jason, describing the edge of a straight razor as crisp means that the edge has the same level of sharpness throughout the blade. Some straight shavers will predominantly use one section of the edge over another and that will create patches of dullness.
