  4. Have you tried any of the milksteak-based soaps from Declaration Grooming. They won soap of the year from Ruds Shaves, and he goes through a lot of shaving soaps. I have their ‘Sellout’ and really like it!

  7. Thank you guys. Jim I normally get 6 or 7 shaves with a Feather Pro. I have not tried the Proline AC blades but I only get 5 shaves out of the injector Proline blades. I am looking forward to giving the Feather Super Pro a try next week.
  8. First I would like to say congratulations on the fifth anniversary of this amazing group, and happy new year.

Last night was my first shave of the new year, and I had not shaved since Christmas Eve. I had a pretty good amount of lawn to mow down. The tool of choice was the dubl duck gold edge, along with some mwf lathered up really nicely with the 2019 30dc le brush, and finished up with some vintage Shulton old spice. After two passes it proved to be a great choice. 66258CC5-7C78-4B0A-8A03-561CC24D543A.jpeg

  12. I have not tried that base. I had a couple of soaps with bison tallow, but I didn't like the way they lathered too much. The performance was pretty good, but when loading, the soap had a weird consistency to it. I have since found myself settling in PAA and Stirling as my go to offerings.
  13. Great picture, Paul! Glad you popped in!

  14. Thank you it’s good to be back, I have been working long hours away from home, so most of my free time was being used to keep in touch with my family.
