Thanks, gentlemen, for the kind words. The water here is quite soft, so I'm enjoying some terrific lathers. This was actually my fourth shave with the Weber loaded with a Voskhod, my awesome (Canadian-manufactured) 30 DC LE brush, and Stirling BOS soap.
Today was the official Mardi Gras kickoff celebration. It was sunny and in the 60s, so we walked the streets of old downtown Pensacola. We couldn't remember where we parked the car, but it had nothing to do with Mardi Gras. Honest!
We also did some shopping and had an early dinner. The Marshall's store had a few shaving supplies, including a handful of Muhle R89's for $20 each. Nothing I couldn't live without, anyway. It just so happened that tonight was prime rib and pasta night at "our" mom & pop Italian place. We were lucky, I suppose, that we chose to eat there just as the first slices of prime rib were being served. I still can't figure out how this happened.

We brought home enough leftover prime rib for the next couple of nights.
I hope you all had a fantastic Saturday!
