To carry on your college conference analogy, Pork would be the SEC. Well, let me be more specific. The SEC West.
Talk to me about that Van Der Hagen. I've been seeing those in the store. At least "a" Van Der Hagen model. ??
Great shave, Jim! Your scent descriptions are excellent. I don’t need another soap.. I don’t need another soap... I don’t need another soap!!!
Razor: Timeless Razor SB w/Alpha Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum (4) Brush: El Druida Barberpole w/ Manchurian Soap: Captain's Choice Bay Rum Aftershave: Captain's Choice Bay Rum Bowl: Asfreidaturns Texas Mesquite Great shave today. Getting back to reading some posts. Two passes for a close clean shave. Not sure if this handle has a name.
Excellent shave and recap Jeff. The MdC Vetyver scent is fantastic. Given how long MdC lasts the price works out better than most artisan soaps.
January 5, 2020 Enoch Feather Super Pro Semogue Mistura Taj WSP Ol’ Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic The WSP Ol'Kentucky was a Christmas gift from Asha. I can pick up the bourbon scent over a base of wood. The sweetness of the bourbon has a vanilla quality to it that adds to the depth of scent. The scent was strong enough to last throughout the shave. I loaded a fresh Feather Super Pro blade and went to work on a traditional 3 pass shave. The blade feel was certainly ramped up with the Super Pro blade. I caught the baby with ease but ended up with several operator induced weepers. Sticking with the Kentucky theme, I ended with a splash of Small Batch Shave Tonic. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Thanks, Clint! My issue with the Fougere and Original was that I really disliked the scents. The Vetyver is incredible. I’m going to ask SWMBO to buy me a full-sized puck of the stuff for my birthday.
