  3. Not true. Just off the top of my head, you have contributed quite a bit to the tech and british Gillette threads.

I am still focussed ridding my den of this soap. Broke out a real "soap destroyer", with the Rubberset.

Tearing up the soap, the granules stood their ground, but I was undeterred.
With a knot full of ethereal corpuscles, I went to the face.
Having just shaved yesterday, there was but little to remove.
Nevertheless, I loaded and scrubbed and exfoliated practically down to the bone.
The '47 SS was locked and loaded with a non-too-oft reached-for Personna Medical Prep blade.
Love the fact that there are no glue spots.
Buffed and skated across my face for three passes and called it quits.
    Double
    splash of the DC1972.
    Smooth and smelling good.

  6. Beautiful picture and write up Joseph. I really love my 1947SS. The Gillette blades suit me well in that razor.

  10. Oh it won't be up for this year's Nomination dates......The soap&A.S. are near full capacity. Give it a few more years. The proprietors and creators might do well to learn that some of the reviews for said products(in the Stoylin website)make similar references. Say, did you write "Awoids"?
  11. :thanks:
  12. Thanks, Adam! I shaved with the same Schick Krona from 1969 to August of 2019 when it finally broke! I’m really having a ball and benefiting from the guidance and direction I've received here in the 30DC. I’m finally coming off my safety razor kid-in-a-candy-store headset. Straights aren’t in the cards for me, but there’s more than enough vintage and new shaving tools to keep me occupied for the indefinite future.
  13. You got it! :happy088:
