  1. Charlie, not only do we look quite alike, we get our haircuts every 5-6 weeks at $20 a "throw"(my Dad's slang). Good for your wife on how she handles what must be a tough aspect of life(losing your hair for cancer treatments).

  2. Beautiful set up and shave, Gary. I hope your Sunday is going well, my friend.

  3. Thanks, Charlie. They are indeed a blessing (though listening to them running around our hotel room makes it easy to forget at times ;))

  4. Thank you, Paul. I appreciate the kind words about my Bride. She is a very faithful and resilient person.

The gal that cuts our hair has offered to come to our house to trim Kathy's hair as it begins regrowing if she's not up to visiting the shop. She has expressly forbid me to trim or shape up my Bride's hair.

Typical conversation when I sit for my haircut:

"Been trimming you hair again, Charlie?"
"Yeah, a little." Thinking: I spent $15 on a rechargeable beard trimmer at Wal-Mart, so why not?
"I can tell." Eye roll, head shake

  5. Hello everyone, it's a wonderful Sunday.
    Early shave, late report.
My focus razor, the Neo-Ras, a new Feather blade, Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic, off we go. Getting ready for church this morning ment no messing around. Even with the time limit on shaving, all went well. A two pass shave on the face, some touch up on the chin. A two pass shave for the old gord, touch up on the very back.
No issues on either, thats nice. Running the razor as designed, the handle straight, the head at an angle, riding the cap. Using all the things I relayed here in the last few posts.

Now ya can say what's the big deal, well nothing really. You can easily run this razor like a standard straight head. But to keep the handle straight and the head tilted it takes some practice, at least for me it did.
So now that I got it figured out, getting a good, consistent, easy and timely shave is next.

I've given up on keeping up with the thread, not nearly enough time to spend on it. When things slow down a bit, I'll try to get back on it.
    All!
    Enjoy!

  6. Great shave report and photo Terry. I knew you would get the razor sorted. I hope you are doing well and things slow down for you.

  8. It's a pretty good razor, If you prefer a mild shave I could see you liking this one. I'm thinking about going for something more aggressive. Maybe a Gillette Fat Boy or a slim adjustable.

  9. That's a fantastic line-up, Evan. I really enjoyed my shaves with Executive Man (enough so that my wife got me the EDT for Father's Day last year :D)

  10. funny you said that, I have had this same bottle since freshman year of high school. Never had a complaint from anyone before. Quite surprisingly an attractive girl I am friend's with complimented me on the fragrance I was wearing which so happened to be Brut. I do find the scent to be quite harsh and a little bit dated smelling but if I wear it lightly I can pull complements with it. Same goes for the vintage old spice never a complaint. I fell like younger people like me, find these classic scents brut/old spice to be unique whenever I wear it, because they are not used to smelling those, unlike other more modern fragrances such as "Bleu De Chanel" for an example.

  11. Although I never married, there is one thing I do know, don't go against the wife's wishes on changing your appearance without her consent.

  12. Yes, I was stubborn because I had the horseshoe for many years. Why should I get a haircut every six weeks when I am stuck with one style?
