fine shave and pic Joe.yes i have a spot just below my left ear/lower neck.wouldn't shave smooth unless i go atg,which would be ear back .awkward spot as i am right handed and a one handed shaver.if i go too much i get irritation.its a fine tune to get it just right.good luck..

It seems Rocky Mtn. Barber Co. is thanking those who have been members for a month by offering 5% discount for "the next"(which would be my "first") purchase. Not worth it, frankly. I wonder if it stretches into next summer. By then I might be more prepared to get a new soap.

Welcome to Menthol Monday! Taking a two day break from the Soap Commander, and on Menthol Monday I used the Stirling Black Ice. Technically, the scent is anise. In layman's terms - it's black licorice, and I love me some black licorice. In fact, I just bought a big bag of Red Vines that is actually a half and half mix of red and black. Yeah, I know, bad for a diabetic but wonderful for the kid in me. Third and final shave with the Flare Tip and Voskhod (and I actually got the Flare Tip in the picture instead of the Fatboy tonight) and with the icy Stirling glide path - no worries at all. Three passes of menthol and licorice goodness and as smooth as silk for the perfect finish.

the best was to describe an rfb looks wise is the rfb comb length is in between a long comb and a short comb.i and many many others believe it to be the best of the bunch,but that is just my opinion.i like the short comb a very close second.the blade clamping is fantastic on a short comb,making for a very smooth shaver..honestly ,most of these gillettes shave similarly..
