Been a rough last few days . Months actually. Hard letting go of a dear friend after seeing her gradually fail. So many good memories though just the same . Its been different not having her in the den watching me shave . Time will heal , the good Lord willing. Now onto the shave . Been pretty much the same thing last few shaves other than blade choice and today I opted for the beautiful JR 241. Feels solid and like it was made for my hand . I know I've said this a thousand times but....Amazing job Jim! @Jayaruh .
Dont be embarrassed about the cut. Not everyone has a long upper lip like Chuck Norris! I find sometimes it takes alot of figuring out with certain razors what works best . Maybe park it away after your 5 days and come back to it in time . That may be all it takes is a fresh start. That food looks good btw. Shame they jacked the price up. Lovely shave Comrade Neal! I'm leaning towards some Russian steel for upcoming repeat 30 day rule. Have a few Silver Blues left that may need some love also.
Brilliant shave as always, Keith! It is a shame you are not getting the edge to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, I can't give you any advice because your have way more experience than I. You will figure it out.
Thank you Gary. I'm tough as the steel I weld but every now and then I got to feel that human side . I will get through this and you guys sure made me feel like I can with your warm words. Have a great night my friend!
Thanks, Charlie. Honestly though, the job is too much fun to take a complement like that without feeling a bit guilty. I teach English, grades 9-12, at a small rural school. Small classes, great kids, and a subject I enjoy--it's scandalous how lucky I am
