Oh, yeah. And for me it's not just soaps and aftershaves. Pre shave soap, witch hazel, Star Jelly, several brushes and the wife uses the Mysterium Serum daily.

    Fantastic shave, Terry!

I was looking at your photo of the Neo Ras, and just realized what a wicked slant that slant actually has :scared007:

I know, I've started using the shampoo bars and deodorant, and my wife and oldest daughter have started using the deodorant as well.

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS (Tube 2.0), SS CK-6, ASB (Star Jelly), AS/C - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Wild West Brushworks - 2 band badger
Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus Steel - Green Kirinite
    Clubman Styptic Pencil

2 pass DFS+ today. Great lather made with an awesome WWB brush. 'Frigga' shaved smooth as always, but she showed me whose boss (even when I'm paying attention!). I clipped the bump under my nose on the set down, and combined with the short healing in the same spot from yesterday....crimson was flowing (good thing wifey had left for work!). Quick second pass covering the other areas, styptic pencil applied (ooOOWWww!), called it good. Followed with PAA's Star Jelly (slightly mentholated), and matching Atomic Age Bay Rum AS/C. Crimson squelched, smooth enough, smelling nice.

For those not familiar with Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Atomic Age Bay Rum...it's BAY RUM through and through. Oak barrel aged a year during processing. No clove. Zilch. NADA. It's in your face Bay Rum, bellowing, overloaded 'argh' piratey goodness ....kicks every wimpy bay rum version to the curb with undeterred ease.

Wild West Brushworks...have a couple of his (Derek's) brush handles. If you haven't heard, well, tough story for his family. House burned a couple weeks before Christmas 2019, and took the brush shop with it. He's on hiatus for awhile, here's hoping he gets back to his passion sooner rather than later.

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

You've done it again. I had stayed away from the Mysterium Serum, but now I am going to have to try it. Maybe some talc as well.

Kind of gets me into trouble. Just yesterday, my wife was sorting through images on our computer, and she turns around and asks, "Why am I looking at a bunch of pictures of your shaving stuff?" She doesn't quite get the concept of a group of people talking about how their shaves went for a particular day. When I tell her, "Well, it beats heroin," she just rolls her eyes.

I'm mostly software so far, other than the menthol crystal grinder. Although I may get the unbreakable scuttle. My buddy did, loves it, pretty cool.

I did some math for my 2019 PAA purchases yesterday...and yeah...:o:o:o

    Andrew Charles – American Tobacco

Back on the first of November the FuzzTech made is world debut on the shaving scene and was named by our very own Charlie @wristwatchb . The FuzzTech was given a makeover with a beautiful plating job by Evan @MrEE . Evan also fabricated a very nice box for the FuzzTech to reside in when not in use. Evan’s work was amazing and gave the FuzzTech the look I think it definitely deserves. Thanks Evan and the FuzzTech will always have a special place in my den.

This is the first shave with the razor since it made its way back into the den. The FuzzTech and a Feather are made for each other and the MWF is just wonderful stuff. This was just an amazing shave with some very personal shaving gear.

Finished the shave off with the Andrew Charles American Tobacco. Sorry for all of the pictures but I enjoy showing the razor and the box off. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
