Took a little more care with the Floating Head this morning and was rewarded with a nice shave. I’m not perfect on my neck, but I was conscious of not opening up yesterday’s badges of dishonour.
Today’s Jeeves product was the fantastic Tobacco Bay Leaf splash and it pairs very nicely with this soap, which is down to probably two more shaves.

good morning gents,nice simple tuesday shave,semogue 1438 made quick work of the lea sandalwood cream,senator/gsb took care of the whiskers in 2+ smooth passes,for a near bbs finish.adidas aftershave capped it off.have a fine day everyone..

January Focus

So, this is the setup through the weekend.
I have decided that January will be a weekly focus.
I might change razors and blades, but the soap/AS/brush will remain constant.
How many $15 soaps can you name that create lather like this?

Not too many I am sure.
I only own two boar knots (now) and this is by far my absolute favorite:
Mondial 26mm.
I have had Semogues, Thäters (ugh), Omegas, but nothing tops the Mondial.
They are also available as Zenith and Antica Barbiera, but they are produced by Mondial.
Boar-lovers: this knot is a must-own.
Worst aspect of the brush is the cheap decal. It will wear off quickly.

The Polsilver disappointed in the D3 set to 9. Not sure, but it was rough.
Passes 2-3 had me reset the Fatboy to 5.
Meehan Bay Rhum is the real deal. It's mos def© a cracklin' good juice.
Nice sting, too.
