  1. I'm pretty spoiled these days, Gary. I'm making up for all the years I used whatever bar of soap was in the soapdish.
  2. You have no idea! I have accumulated a fair number of DE and SE razors. Most of the guys have substantial collections. Mine’s grown appreciably since I started hanging out with the TSD gang.
  3. Thanks, Clint!

  11. mrs.brit is happy i have this hobby.cool pics ,smooth face.at home a lot more..plus i am not hot rodding cars anymore.saving thousands..:)they can't have all the marbles..
  12. I think its been done by other TSD members.

I use to have the two D's of success, but things are changing as I get older. If you haven't heard of the D's of success they are:

    1) you have to be dumb enough to think you can.
    2) you have to be desperate enough to finish when you realize you can't.

A person possessing both D's can do anything. The problem is, I'm not as desperate as I use to be. Still dumb though, I'll always have that going for me.

  14. In case some of you folks with a problem need to see what a minimalist den looks like.

  18. Tough shave day Evan, love the products though! And very nice work on the plating/case for Danny's razor also!

Well, yeah. I've got three styptic options (doesn't everyone?;)). Had to let y'all know which one went to work this morning.

Great report, cool razor and setup Jeff!

Great info! I've only the CK-1 base with the Pineapple Bay Rum. Wanted to give the less expensive base a try. The small difference to CK-6 base eluded me. All other PAA soaps are the CK-6. That one does have a great silky slick face feel in between passes, but also hours after the shave for me. In between passes, face is still slick enough to buff lightly with a safety or a straight. In contrast....Arko/Derby/Cella/Williams/others....exact opposite. Skin feel is so 'clean' a finger barely slides (feels like it's touched alum), much less trying to buff with a razor.

I'll give that little extra face lather a try while cleaning up.
