January 2020 January 8 Razor - New LC - Delta Echo Blade - (1) Soap - Soap Commander Courage Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum Halfway through the week and it's time to shave! Back to the Soap Commander Courage for another 5 shaves as I use it up. I switched to the New LC with a Rapira Super Stainless. The JR46 is a great looking and functioning brush that made lather like it was going out of style. Three full passes, all great and smooth and very effective, leaves the baby in the house and me a happy camper. Quiet alum so it's perfect all around! Thursday awaits next and we're on that downhill slide to the weekend. Enjoy!

Wednesday Occam's SOTN I finally took a break from the Enoch to try the Occam's DE tonight. It is an interesting razor - I opted for the ridge cap as it's unique with the "partial open comb plate." Not sure my blade was the right one for this razor's maiden voyage - a little neck irritation resulted from the shave. The larger definitely wasn't the problem . 2020-01-09, Thursday I don't know why I chose this soap this morning: I don't feel it in line with the fog. But it happened... Nor I was sorry either Growth, after yesterday's Torsionhobel, was minimal, so I needed the sweetest razor I had. The result was announced: such a sweet blade with such a slippery, 'nourishing' soap could not arise any surprise and they did not source any. The music? More in line with the soap than with the climate. Maybe it was that that made me choose... Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #326 Russian SHaDE Personna Half DE CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood face lathered well with Jayaruh #326 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Russian SHaDE razor with a Personna Half blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
