2 pass DFS+ Everything was very nice, no issues to report. An awesome shave with PAA's CK-6 formula, @jtspartan's handle loaded with a great knot, and the Supply SE with a Proline blade. A wonderful aroma, Doppelgänger's Black Label (copy of Sauvage) is one of my favorites, and first purchases from PAA. It's likely to be the first tub I finish of theirs, it's half gone at 9 months. Finished off with the Star Jelly, and even more of the Black Label. Smooth and smelling great.

    Hope everyone's Thursday is awesome!

Thank you, Jim! I am keeping a spreadsheet with all of these shaves and my scent notes (this sounds like a fancy, schmancy wine thing). It is interesting as I get it sorted by preference. I am definitely curious to see how it looks when this is done.

Terrific picture, Blair. The Black label has been in my cart many times, but I have never pulled the trigger for some reason.

Fantastic shave, Blair. Is it just me that finds the idea of naming a dupe scent 'Doppelganger' incredibly clever?

Williams is sold under a different name in Canada. You'll find yourself between a rock and a lard place trying to find it south of the border.

Terrific photo and setup, Joseph! I agree that the Fatboy is a nostalgic piece. It works really well for me on 9 on Fridays when I use it, but I only own one and use it because it came to me from my great uncle. It's a fun family piece and goes with the Friday theme.

Alabama Awesome, Danny! Watch out for the weather coming on Saturday.

    Nice shave, Jeff!

    Great photo and combination, Jason!

    Thank you, Gary!

    Excellent show, Gary!

    Thank you, Tim!

Wow, killer photo and setup, Blair!

Pay attention, children. The process has begun...

We're ready for the next one, @NCoxSTL.

@MrEE giving away shiny plated razors...sneaky...we're pulling out all the stops now. Even after five years, Czar, you've got a few new tricks up your sleeve!

I've got the Tabac fanboy team on standby in case we need to switch things up. For now, @Trigger is doing a great job laying the Stirling smoke screen. I wasn't expecting @brit to jump in on Soap Commander! Nice touch, but I wonder if he's trying to overthrow @PLAla? Gary will move up quickly through the Cartel, yes?

Man oh man...the imagery we created with all those den photos. Next time we'll save the @Edison Carter rolling shave cart for round two. It's a bit much to take in upfront.

...and @Drygulch leading the Jeeves charge! That one came out of nowhere!!!!

I have to admit...the process is a bit easier if @wchnu stays away. Too bad he scares the newbies. I have @Hembree, @Terry, @Douglas Carey, and @jtspartan warming up in the bullpen in case we need to make some player changes. Did you speak with Doug about toning down the Insane Shaver Dude thing? And of course, @Primotenore is prepped and ready to break out in song at any moment...should the need arise.

Sorry to hear that @Norcalnewb, @jluc, and @b1hart's brides finally figured out how much PAA they purchased. I'm sure they'll heal up quickly and return soon.

After I get finished with @Keithmax and @clint64, I'm gonna drop the watch thing on @timabababaluka just for fun.

OK, now I'm gonna head back over to the Welcome Center and keep my eyes open.

    BWAHAHA!!!

Jumping around in the thread.....kind of how my brain works.

Great description Jim! Everyone's nose rates fragrances different.....I really like PAA's Atmotic (and one of the reasons I'm saving it for later use). It was a direct enable early on when you posted it first sometime late 2019. I bought two $1 samples, then went for the full blown set. It's a top 5 or so of my PAA inventory (so far....).

Thanks Tim! Yeah...PAA's label art and names are clever and 'out there' sometimes, but I don't think on it too much. I figure (based on that plus a couple interviews I've watched) he's a pretty eccentric, but straight forward pro wet shaving guy making very nice products.

That’s what sold me on it. You can pretty much go on automatic. It’s got such a wide sweet spot that the shave is effortless!
